Toronto Island Bike Rental
The bike rental is located by the pier on Centre Island. Maybe it's a bit too far from the ferry docks - by the time you walk to the bike rental booth you could have walked just about anywhere else on the island. But it's just fine considering it's for people who want to rent bikes for the fun of it.
It can be a bit of a hike to walk across the whole island. Bringing your own bike on the ferry is a good idea but it can be a hassle - the next best thing is to rent a bike or a quadricycle.
As you get off the ferry, walk straight staight towards the bridge by the Carousel Cafe over to the fountain, walk past the fountain until you reach the Pizza Pizza outlet by the pier - the bike rental booth is just to your left. It's about a 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. See the map for details.
The company is family-owned and has been in business for over 30 years. They rent single and tandem bikes as well as two types of awning-covered quadricycles that can carry adults and children. Single bikes are $10 per hour. Tandems bikes are $19 per hour. Two seather quadricycles are $20 per hour and four seater quadricycles are $38 per hour.
To rent a a bike or quadricyle, you’ll need a deposit and valid Identity card - either a Driver's License or Passport (other identity cards will be accepted at the discretion of the cashier).
